C’mon on down Cathy. Your sneak peeks are here for the viewing!
I had so much fun on this session, and LOVED that I got to go somewhere new and fresh. And who does not love the warm, yummy light of an autumn afternoon?

Hope you love them!

It’s Autumn!
April 29, 2008 | Category: not kids | 6 Comments
You know, in Sydney we don’t get a whole range of gorgeous autumn colours - no real golds and reds and oranges in the leaves.. most of the time it’s dull and brown and crunchy before the leaves even hit the ground!
But not here! I ventured up into the Blue Mountains today for my shoot with Cathy & family and let me tell you, the scenery was absolutely GORGEOUS. Cathy you chose the most fabulous spots for your session!
I decided I could not wait any longer to share just one sneak peek with you, so I hope you are stalking the blog
More to come in the next couple of days… but I just HAD to share this, one of the first images, right now!

Cathy is also a photographer! Which explains her fabulous taste in clothes & location.

I’ve been putting off taking a photo of this for a couple of weeks, since I was thinking I should take photos of all the other cds with my photographs on them first… you know, to get things in chronological order. But that’s never gonna happen, so I just went ahead and shot this one.
The back:

The front:

And a few more photos from the coverart session (these were shot last year!)

Behind the scenes; setting up the shot and testing the light. That’s a floodlight I have behind him and a smoke bomb starting to diffuse.

I’m in need of a newborn to shoot at this gorgeous spot. You can see my little girl in the photos below
If you have a baby up to the age of 3 weeks, please email me through the contact form on my site, or leave a comment here. The shoot will be COMPLIMENTARY (read: FREE, woohoo for you!) because I really really really want to photograph a newborn here. You will receive two digital negatives and 50% off further a la carte print prices. You would need to be willing to travel near to Georges Hall (will give exact address via email) and sign a model release form. I’ve got my fingers crossed, so contact me

The images in the previous post were shot at this location too. If you don’t have a newborn yourself but know someone who does, PLEASE feel free to pass this along to them or post it on your mummy boards and what have you. Thanks muchly.

Isn’t this Bumpkins & Bonnets outfit by Mabelicious adorable?? I just love the super ruffles and the vintage inspired fabrics. And of course, it’s got lots of red with polka dots and I looooove red and polka dots

Isn’t she a doll? Her mama was a little worried we didn’t get a smile - but look!

A few days ago I met up with the fabulous Sue of Itti Bitti Nappies to shoot some adorable littlies for their catalogue/website. Being a cloth user myself, I was SOOOO excited about this job! And, to make it even more fun, Lilly got to model as well. All of the little models were GORGEOUS, making my job pretty easy
Hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek!

Those of you familiar with my work will have seen this girl growing up in front of my camera. I can barely believe she is a big, grown up Lady of 9 years old now!

And a colour one just for fun. Apparently I was making her laugh. I always seem to do that, by doing nothing at all
