Baby Beanies WINNER!
February 26, 2009 | Category: babies, commercial, randomness
My husband and I just got back from a VERY yummy late desert at Max Bremmer for my birthday (thanks to the MCN raverly girls for bringing mb to my attention) and it’s time to pick a winner!
Meredith Hodges-Boos
When babies are born, all their innocent thoughts are nestled together, deep inside their sweet little heads. All their ideas, their imagination and hopes are tightly wound together like a skein of yarn.
As babies grow and see the ways of the world, those innocent thoughts get less and less warm. Their important feelings that were so close to their dreams and whimsy, slowly unravel in long trains of thought.
The reason babies look so cute in knitted hats is because, like yarn, their innocence can be woven together again with their curiosity, ideas and creativity to make something more than just a snarl of thoughts. Knitted hats create something warm to keep all that baby goodness in.
Congratulations Meredith! Please email me with your postal address and I’ll get your signed copy out to you!

Picking a winner was so hard! All of the answers were so good. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks babies are just CUUUUUTE in hats!

Your book is fantastic! I popped over at a friends’ and there it was on her coffee table!! Beautiful!
Congratulations, Meredith! I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to get my hands on your newly won book. My knitting needles are ready to knit new hats for my beautiful granddaughter, Kyrie.
