Joel + Heather PART ONE
February 9, 2010 | Category: not kids
Before you ask, NO I am not going to start shooting more weddings
However, seeing as how Joel is my brother, I of course was more than thrilled to be asked to photograph Joel and Heather’s wedding. It was all set to be a stunning beach wedding at Woolongong, however on the day it POURED with rain and the wind went crazy! Plans were changed several times, and in the end the ceremony and reception were both held at the rather lovely (but extremely WET thanks to the rain!) Burham Grove reception. Originally we had planned a couple of hours to shoot bridals at the beach and around Woolongong after the ceremony, but because of the weather we had to shoot fast (and try not to get soaked!) at the reception location. Lucky it was pretty
Sooo enjoy part one

So then we left the girls for a little while and went to see what the boys were doing…

I think he was a little excited ![]()

Stay tuned for more to come in the next day from the ceremony and bridals!

These are great shots, Amanda. I did spare a thought for all the brides last weekend… and for the rest of Feb, it seems! Still, it’s clear the wet weather did nothing to dampen spirits! Man, your brother looked SO excited! You did a great job in difficult conditions… but what else would be expect from you!
It may have been raining on their special day but you wouldnt have known with smiles and spirits as high as theirs. Made for brilliant light on the day for you…you have done a beautiful job, such precious and special images! Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
I’ve been looking every day to see if you had put up wedding photos. So far they look fab. How strong is the family resemblance between you three. perhaps it puts the keeys genes to shame?
